MEMBER
Ron Austin-
Guitarist, Bassist, Pianist,
Singer- Songwriter
and Program Manager

Ron Austin, member of several jazz organizations including The American Legion Hall in NYC is well known in the church community as a community activist as a well sort after R&B and jazz vocalist and musician. Before becoming a MightyDreamer Angel member and diligently producing his long awaited soon to be released R&B CD, he would frequent many establishments as a booked artist playing with several bands, some of which he was bandleader. Ron Austin has appeared at major venues throughout NY during the pass decade including regularly at Sweetwaters in Manhattan and most recently at VLADA Lounge. Currently he is readying to help make "2 for Love" international and working in several church and hall concerts. The commanding singer and prolific R&B and jazz songwriter presents compelling lyrics, climatic voice phrasing and passionate musical story lines.  His smooth singing style and guitar playing is both in synche with today's compositions and yet can be stated as being ahead of time.   This is a spirit building artist. Mr. Austin was heard singing lead and doing duets with Sharon L. West throughout the first session of the "2 for Love" series at the MightyDreamer Angel Jazz program that ended December 31st, 2009.  Expect to experience more original music by Ron during the March to September session in 2010.
MEMBER
Yoshiki Miura
Jazz Guitarist

World re-known performing and studio recording jazz guitarist,  Yoshiki  Miura and Sharon first met at St. Nick's Pub many years ago when she was doing a film internship there.  The two became fast musical friends once he heard her sing to herself while he was rehearsing nearby onstage getting ready for his performance with the booked band there on Sunday's. It became a ritual that she would come in before the band and he and her play with melodies and voicing while he tuned up before the band arrived.  He helped spark the plug for Sharon to get inspired to form a quick band that booked many venues for 2 years, including many community activist showings and TV events. Yoshiki was the first to say he'd play even for free just to gig together and many of times the two of them did. That first Christmas gig at St. Nick's Pub together has led the two to form a union that now expands the building of the MightyDreamer Angel program currently sponsored in part by Culurarte, NY. Yes, now when Yoshiki is not recording, teaching, touring Japan, gigging at the Iridium, performing with the B4 Quartet, or his own band, he can be seen again accompanying Sharon and the other wonderful performers and musicians below on this page and more bi-weekly on Thursdays at the Anacaona Domincan Theater at 7:30 pm.  Yoshiki's credits expands more than 25 years in the music business professionally. Ironically, close to that amount of time ago, he use to accompany our dear MightyDreamer Angel member soon to be voice teacher with the program, Gia Williams, who now sings as a guest artist at the "2 for Love" Series among a 1001 other things too that she is doing. Isn't life special?!
